Hey @petebrown at the Loot warehouse sale in Turners
Walking away from this one. Time to move on. Started 2024-07-24 and only 58% of the way through. Did Not Finish: Radical Candor by Kim Scott 📚
🍿 X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) ★★½ - Trying to fill in some backstory before watching Deadpool vs Wolverine. While this one does fill in some interesting details, I didn’t find it particularly compelling. Overall, pretty forgettable. letterboxd.com/dvdlite/f…
🍿 The Blue Angels (2024) ★★★★½ - My wife and I really enjoyed this one. It was great to get an inside look at how the team is assembled and the camaraderie and trust amongst the pilots and the entire support staff. The in-flight photography was exhilarating and gave me a renewed respect for the precision of the pilots. Definitely worth a watch if you have even the slightest interest in aviation. letterboxd.com/dvdlite/f…
I spent some time today installing a cat door in our RV bedroom so we can move their litter box to our pass-through storage area. Very straightforward hack! Does this count for #Caturday? 😹 Sadly, no cats on this trip to test it out.
🍿 Deadpool 2 (2018) ★★★★ - I tolerate superhero action movies, but I really like Ryan Reynolds’ self-deprecating humor. So overall, I came away happy to have watched this one. letterboxd.com/dvdlite/f…
🔗 practicalpkm.com/lifehq Can’t wait to dig into this: Mike Schmitz’s LifeHQ: “This epic done-for-you Obsidian vault is the culmination of everything I’ve ever learned about productivity, creativity, and personal knowledge management (or PKM).”
🩸 Please consider donating blood if you are able. As a universal donor, I donate using the Double Red process, so an hour out of my life three times a year to save lives feels like a no-brainer.
Happy #Caturday from our tribe.

🍿 The Last Stop in Yuma County (2023) ★★★★ - I love watching movies like this play out. Everybody thinks they have things under control. Until they don’t. Kind of reminded me of The Hateful Eight without the accidental destruction of a priceless Martin guitar. Filmed not far from where I was born, love the Joshua trees. letterboxd.com/dvdlite/f…
